I absolutely adore this shirt for it's little details and of course, the colour combination. The curved sleeves and subtle slit at the back, along with the neutral colours mixed in with green won me over in an instant! Another piece I'm loving are these J brand jeans. No other pair have fit me this well and have been so comfortable. And I cannot forget to mention my new tote which fits basically everything I need and is going to be perfect for uni this year.

I'm getting into the summer mood after being in winter mode whilst in the states by wearing some bright coral lipstick and a magenta dress (it's coming up purple in this photo unfortunately). It was a typical summers day spent with my sister. We went on a bit of a shopping trip and had some delicious food whilst being surrounded by the warmth of the day. An afternoon well spent!

It's nice to just put on a comfy, no fuss outfit once in a while. For me, that means a cosy shirt, shorts I can really move around in and flats. At first I felt like I was wearing pyjamas, but is that such a bad thing? My answer's no, only due to the fact that I was just running errands and grabbing lunch!

Let's go back a bit to our time in Chicago. It was only a 10 minute walk before we were at the beach where it felt so calm and peaceful. Even though the city was still in sight, everything just felt so much more relaxing by the edge of the water.

A two hour bus ride to Santa Monica was definitely worth it. Playlist for the ride? Some old school surf music. Our day was slightly rushed but we made it to the beach and then to 3rd street promenade for a little bit of shopping. I was still feeling unwell, so maybe it was my snail speed walking that slowed us down (excuse the tired eyes)!

Wearing some of my travel essentials; layered tops, cardigan, and a chunky scarf (which I unfortunately lost somewhere in LAX) to stay warm, with some flats and a large bag for convenience. I tend to dress for ease and practicality whilst on holiday.

San Francisco was extremely enjoyable, even with the ridiculously steep roads! Thankfully, my sister convinced me to bike over the Golden Gate Bridge. I'm so glad we did it because it was so much fun to be on a bike again! We biked across to Sausalito, had lunch (which possibly made me terribly sick, but that's another story), took a ferry back, and then up to the crookedest street we went. Almost a perfect 2 day trip in San Fran, except for the getting ill part...

Anyway, back to the present! I'm home! I love how the weather is always warm when I return from a holiday, and my room is there exactly how I left it! Time to get back to the real world though. But that won't stop me in indulging in the past by continuing to post about my trip. Extemely sorry if you're sick of my cheesy tourist photos. Outfit posts will start to resume as usual very soon!

I have been gravitating towards jewellery of all kinds recently, from the ancient pieces preserved at the museum, to dainty, precious stone rings. I'm purchasing the latter of course and am in love with the green colour of this stone. I was eyeing this ring for a little while at the Chelsea Market and decided to walk away from it for a while, but ended up making my way back to it. After a bit of resizing, it was mine! I would have gone back for more if my slowly diminishing holiday budget would allow.

I'm currently in San Francisco as I write this, and will be heading to LA soon before returning to Melbourne. Not sure if I'm happy or sad to leave...

My new Michael Kors rose golden watch! Or you could say, my first proper watch since I was a kid and watches with Disney characters were cool(?). I love the colour and its practicality. Money well spent!

I'm currently in Washington D.C with my sister. First impressions? Extremely clean and very quiet! Finished seeing most of the monuments and museums by 2:30pm today and am now extremely tired! Next stop, Chicago. What have you all been up to lately? Hope you're all well too!

NEW YEARS IN NY

Unfortunately I didn't get many photos on New Years Eve, but here are some photos of what we did on New Years day. We rushed to brunch on the terrace of the Gramercy Park Hotel after waking up 20 minutes before our reservation time (that's what you get for booking brunch so early after New Years Eve!). We were feeling extremely tried and out of energy, but at least we still had an apetite! Excuse the sleepy face...

How beautiful is this place! I would love to just lounge around all day here sipping tea and juice! My sister and I sleepily headed to the Natural History Museum afterwards where we admired all the wondrous discoveries. What did you all get up to on New Years?

CENTRAL PARK AND CHRISTMAS WINDOWS

We spent Christmas day gazing through Christmas display windows and wandering around Central Park eating pretzels, before ending the day with a lovely three course dinner at the Boathouse. Unfortunately, I didn't find anything very festive to wear for Christmas, so I ended up putting on a Gap black sweater with gold thread woven throughout, a Zara skirt and my new Topshop boots that I am in love with- almost all black unfortunately... My feet were aching by the end of the day and we had to rush to make our dinner reservations, but it was still a great, although tiring, Christmas Day in New York. I will try to do some outfit posts whilst I'm here too- got to get the typical NYC background in!

We have spent Christmas Eve and Christmas day visiting many of the must see tourist sites in New York and I am exhausted already after day five! I will keep you updated every few days and hopefully compile a a bit of a photo diary after my trip is complete in a month. We still have a week and half of New York left, then my sister and I are off to Washington D.C, Chicago, Orlando, San Francisco and L.A! I can't wait!

Hi everyone! Just a quick little update to say hello, from New York! After travelling for a good solid day and a bit, I finally arrived. Leaving Australia at 11am on the 21st and arriving in New York at night on the same day is slightly bizarre! (The time difference is messing with me) Still a little jet lagged, but let's hope that will pass soon. Had a bit of a slow start to the day, but managed to pull ourselves out of bed and head to the Brooklyn Flea Market, grab some food, and have a late dinner. Day one completed!

I wore this outfit on a lovely day spent shopping and eating with friends, two things we seem to do too much of! And it seemed that it was a day for buying skirts, admiring sequinned pieces and colourful things too!

I use to hate this skirt only due to the fact that it was a size too big and I couldn't return it. But after altering it, I love it again! It's also super fun to twirl around in! I paired it with a top I made (you can see more of the details here) and a skinny belt to tie it altogether. And of course my favourite flats of all time! Looks like I'm back to my obsession with neutrals!

A TOUCH OF TRIBAL

These tribal printed shorts have become an instant favourite of mine and I've only owned them for 5 or so days! I picked them up during the 'study break' I decided to treat myself with last weekend and am loving how easy they are to wear, especially with the warmer weather we've been having! I love these shorts paired with a silk blouse and a chunky cardigan, but love it equally as much with a simple white tee. Summer, here I come (probably with these shorts strapped to my waist)!

My two favourite things- neutrals and stripes. And boy do I have a lot of them! But it's time to say goodbye for at least a day and get into some colour! I'm really feeling green at the moment and am on the hunt for something amazing!

I picked up this shirt recently and am in love with how easy it is to wear. It's not visible in the photos, but it has some detail around the neck that I really love, and the fact that it's striped is just an added bonus for me. I've also been wearing these loafers to death and they've held up surprisingly well! I can't get enough of them!

Okay enough about my love for stripes and neutrals and talk about my longing desire to own something painfully bright! Assignments and essays await. Hurrah for the weekend, hope you all have a relaxing one!

The packaging of the finishing powder feels so luxurious with its black velvet case and huge mirror. It feels too precious to use! But with its price tag, it would be silly not to! 2 things my wardrobe currently lacks: patterns and brights. Something that I will soon be correcting as spring starts to emerge! My wardrobe is also completely out of proportion- lots of bottoms, but no tops? I've also been on the hunt for some really good basic shirts, but haven't been too lucky in my search. If anyone has any suggestions please leave me a comment!

I have been getting into simple, clean looks recently. As much as I love layering, sometimes it's nice to strip it all away and just keep it simple. But it can also start to verge on the side of boring for me, so little things like jewellery or patterns adds a nice little addition. I headed out for a mid-week dinner of steak and dessert with some friends a couple of nights ago and was in the mood to dress up a bit. I wouldn't call this formal or anything, but there's something about the combination of a draped top, maxi skirt and platform heels that makes me feel a little more dressed up. My sister showed me a skirt very similar to this, but with a tighter fit a while ago, but felt like it didn't really suit me. When I saw this one however, with more of a loose fit, I jumped for it! Who doesn't love a good stripe?

I finally had some time today to take photos! The weather was gorgeous too, so that was a plus. There's nothing worse than trying to take photos on a dull, windy day! I had originally put on my new flowy floral skirt, but as soon as I stepped out the door, my legs froze (I hate being sick!). I cannot wait for spring to come around! There's flowers blooming everywhere in gorgeous colours. Wouldn't that bright pink of the flowers behind me be amazing in a lipstick or nail colour?!

Hi everyone! Hope you're all well! I have been sitting in front of my laptop getting distracted from all my work (does anyone else have a love/hate relationship with so much uni work being online these days?), so I decided I would use this time to blog and then force myself to get back to studying afterwards (reward first, study later?)! This is just an outfit I wore to uni today. I've been living in these pants recently! They're so much more comfy than the usual denim and I feel that the zip and stitch detailing adds something more to them. And since I only had one lecture today, I literally grabbed the first shirt in my wardrobe, the first pair of pants I could see and the first coat hanging on my clothes rack! Sorry for the over a week long absence! I haven't had many opportunities to take photos especially since it's already dark by 5pm! I just quickly threw on some basics before going out for some delicious Indian food- tandoori chicken and masala kulcha bread! Yum!

I'm all for non-fussy dressing recently, probably due to the unpredictable weather. Wearing layers of floaty pieces and maxi dresses (which is how I really feel like dressing) really gets in the way when trying to charge your way through the strong winds and huge crowds! I'll be super happy when spring begins!

Hope you're all getting through the week okay! I'm still on holidays, but am actually itching to get back to uni out of boredom, but I'm sure I'll regret thinking this later on! I have also begun sewing this shirt here for my store!

16 DEGREES AND SUNNY

... so what am I doing in this attire? (Don't worry, I did have a coat on!) The sun really does make a difference and makes wearing less layers bearable! I went out for a quick late breakfast, more like lunch, with my sister today and then to the library to search for some good reads. Lazy day indeed.

I'm wearing the shirt I made and posted about below! It's so nice to hear that you all like it! Your comments really make my day, so thank you! And I will definitely consider making it for my store soon. I felt very spring-like today, as the waiter at the cafe not very subtly pointed out, but I feel that the colour of the print makes it slightly more appropriate for this sunny winters day!

I haven't worn my hair all up since last year when it was compulsory for ballet classes and I have to admit, it makes me look a lot younger and my face feel quite naked! Maybe a good thing since I'm commonly mistaken for being much older than I am!

SEWING: PRINTED FLORALS

I mentioned a while ago that I bought some really gorgeous printed fabric, and this is what I ended up making from it! I changed my mind about the design multiple times, but I thought I would just keep it simple and neat and let the print speak for itself. I've got some new sewing ideas in mind, and if I like the way they turn out I might consider selling them in my STORE!

On another note, does anyone know of any good Melbourne markets for selling handmade clothing? I know there are a lot of markets for crafts, but I'm not so sure about clothing. If anyone has any ideas, I would love to know! I miss selling at markets!

BALLET FLATS, MOVE OVER!

I have somehow managed to survive the past few months without a good pair of flats. How? Slipping on my boots or extremely uncomfortable flats instead... My poor feet can now relax with my new leather suede loafers! These are a lot less detailed than the conventional loafer, but that's why I love these- simple and easy to wear! It seems that Saturday was the day for loafers, with my sister picking up an equally cute pair! We'll be loafer-ing it up!

I think I'm in denial that it is indeed winter. I almost forgot to wear tights, in which I would have frozen and watched my legs grow purple! If only I could have a perfect umbrella of sun hovering over me during these chilly times!

Wearing some classic pieces that I will probably wear for years to come, namely my trusty black winter coat, pleated skirt and tortoise shell Raybans. I bought these flats years ago and only wore them twice because they were so uncomfortable, but I got them out yesterday and they fit perfectly. Not sure why they suddenly decided to fit!

I've survived the exam period and am ready to enjoy the break! I'm planning to visit the new Zara store which opened in Melbourne today (if anyone survived the opening today let me know how it is!), the Tutankhamun exhibition which I've been excited to see since they announced it and of course seeing my friends and lots of sewing!

Blistering cold winds today, with spurts of sunshine, rain and hail, oh my! That means it's time to get the basics out and layer up! The beauty of maxi dresses and skirts is that you can wear the thickest, warmest tights underneath and no one would ever guess! Plus, they are super comfy and perfect for sitting exams in huge slightly chilly halls (two exams down, two to go!) Thank you for the good luck wishes!

Is it just me or does anyone else in the southern hemisphere just want to pull out the bright clothing (well, the limited amount I own) in defense of the freezing weather? I do. Maybe next time instead of the usual neutrals! I hope everyone is having a great week so far, talk soon!

Staying warm in a thick cosy cardigan and keeping things simple with a pair of jeans and a blouse. I just bought this cardigan yesterday and love the feeling of not wearing heavy coats and blazers for a day. Can you believe I didn't own a chunky cardigan until now?

Today was the last day of class for semester one of my first year of university- time really does go by in a flash! It has been nothing like I thought it would be and so much harder, but it's slowly growing on me! Looking forward to exams ending and enjoying the mid year break! Hello everyone! I hope everyone is doing well and I'm glad to see that Blogger is back to normal!

Despite the freezing weather, I decided to quickly snap some photos of my new favourite dress! My favourite pieces are always those that I find unexpectedly- be they finds from second hand stores, markets or vintage, they always end up being my absolute favourites! I just bought this dress at a market not too long ago and have fallen in love with it already, especially with the little details on the collar and the semi sheer fabric. I'm predicting multiple repeat posts of this dress!

It's that time of the year where assignments are piling up and exams are becoming ever so close. I think it's time for me to really hit the books and study up. You know everyone's stressed and tired when trackies and hoodies start becoming people's staple outfits! But instead of dressing down, dressing up is always a must for me when I'm feeling tired and unmotivated! Ah the beauty of fashion- an instant boost to my mood!

Winter came early this year and Melbourne decided to get cold fast! Oh well, I'm going with it, adding boots and jumpers and heavy coats to my everyday outfits! They say that your mood affects how you dress, and the grey gloomy weather today clearly influenced me and my dressing!

I bought most of my winter hats in summer and they have been stacked up on top of my shelf collecting dust for months and months. They can now finally come out and play while my straw hats take a break from shielding me from the harsh sun. I'm constantly seeing versions of my navy and beige hats around in stores for crazy prices, and it makes me so happy that I picked mine up for a mere five dollars!

Due to autumn finally setting in, waking in the dark has become the norm. It's getting harder to get out of bed, snooze buttons are being pressed repeatedly, and the cold mornings are making it even more desirable to leave the house in pyjamas (unfortunately I think only the Coco Chanel can pull this off)! Wearing the same tee again, but in my defence it's been four days since I wore it last! I forgot how convenient a good tee shirt was. I think it's time to invest in some more staple pieces!

I've been spending my week writing essays, whilst eating too many easter eggs and flipping (more like clicking) through the Rosemount Australian Fashion Week coverage. There are so many great collections the I can't decide on a favourite yet! Hope everyone's week is going well. It's the weekend finally!

Hi everyone! How was your weekend? I finished my short little break from university with a trip to the sunday market. I hadn't been for a while (quite unusual!) and decided to head on over before all my assignment deadlines start creeping up on me, actually they already have! I picked up a gorgeous polka dot dress with a cute little collar and can't wait to wear it! My friend picked up an amazing 1960s leather bag for a bargain even after the super sweet stall owner realised he had marked the price completely wrong (and in the end received no profit at all), and let her have it for the marked price anyway! Poor guy, but 'yay' for my friend! A successful trip including delicious jam donuts and faux fur coats everwhere! It's time for me to head to sleep now. I've decided to wake up a little earlier tomorrow to get some work done before my lecture. Have a wonderful week everyone!

As you can probably see, the sunlight was extremely blinding today! I am slightly (okay really) obsessed with collars and I thought why not start layering them under dresses? Next time it's going to be sweaters and anything I can get my hands on! I've had this dress hanging in my closet since late last year and this is only the second, maybe third time I've worn it, so I decided to finally pull it out and let it see some daylight!

On a totally unrelated note, my photos seem to decrease in quality a lot when uploading them onto blogger, any suggestions on how to fix this?

The leaves are finally starting to change colour! I love this time of year. I'm finally on my Easter break, but it's only a one week break from uni and I'm going to have to spend it writing essays. Hopefully I'll be able to get more outfit posts and sewing time in! I picked out a really pretty fabric today with the help of my friend, and cannot wait to create something with it! I've actually got a pile of fabric waiting to be transformed into something new!

I ask myself the same question every morning: what should I wear today? A common dilemma for me! Do I feel girly today, do I want to be casual, or dressed up? Is it raining, or are they predicting sunshine? Am I running late, or do I have enough time to hobble to the bus stop in those not so comfortable shoes? And the list goes on. Who knew the simple task of getting dressed could be so hard. If in doubt, I have my go-to outfit consisting of jeans, my favourite blouse nude flats and accessories. Boring, yes, but at least I've got something on. Oh the joys of early mornings and unpredictable weather!

Yeojin Bae featured at the screening of 'YVES SAINT LAURENT - PIERRE BERGÉ, L’AMOUR FOU' as part of the French Film Festival. I am still in love with the nude dress and cute little cut outs that I saw at LMFF! The lamps, chairs and jewellery all screamed luxury and just made you want to run away with all the pieces! I will do a little post on the documentary soon. But for now, I'll just say, it was extraordinary!

Sorry about the lack of posts this week! It's been so hard to take outfit photos, especially with the early mornings, rainy days and lack of tripod! I will try really hard this week!

This week was the Loreal Melbourne Fashion Festival- a week of fashion, fun and stylish individuals. I only went to one runway show featuring designers Yeojin Bae, LIFEwithBIRD, Flannel, Camilla & Marc, Carl Kapp, Lisa Ho, Bianca Spender and Athur Galan AG. Now I'm lusting for sequin pants I'll never wear, cut out collared shirts and nude maxis!

I wore a Shakuhachi dress I picked up at their warehouse sale recently. I loved it the instant I saw it with its sheer sleeves, pockets and uneven hemline! I'm suprised I even got dressed after missing my bus from Uni, rushing home frantically, having the quickest shower I've ever had and then having to resort to the lowest wedges ever all so I could catch the train!

Hi everyone! It's been a while, I know, 17 days to be exact. Starting university, getting used to the new environment and trying to keep up with all the reading has taken up all my time and energy!

I'm wearing an assymetrical skirt I made recently. This design, in a different fabric, will be available in my STORE soon. It's taking a lot longer than I thought it would to sew everything and then photograph the pieces, but they will come eventually! I just haven't had the time to get everyone together to take the photos! This will be the last time I say 'soon', promise!

No way. My room is a small mess. Clothes piled all over my bed, books stacked up on the desk and junk under my bed. But I'm slowly starting to organise my room starting off with my wardrobe! I finally put my Ikea detachable clothing shelf up, hung up all my dresses and made a 'throw away' and 'donate' pile. Next up on my list, clear some shelf space for my new school books so there's no more books on the ground and stacks on my desk, horay!

Can you believe it's already February! It feels like I was wishing everyone a happy new year just last week! Time is flying by so quickly! SNEAK A LITTLE PEAK

Since I haven't taken any outfit posts recently, I thought I'd show you all what I've been doing with my free time (while I have the time- I'm starting my first year of Uni in a month, scary!)

These are two of the three pieces I am currently making for my STORE. I'm also planning on making a skirt to go with the shirt. They're not perfect yet as these are the very first ones I've made and will not go on sale. But on the bright side, I've discovered all the areas that need to be changed which means all the little imperfections will be fixed for when I make the actual ones for my store!

The never-ending sound of cicadas, day in, day out-- it really must be summer!

Summer gets ridiculously hot here in Australia, so dressing simply is a must on those 30-40 degree days. I'm not a huge fan of wearing a simple dress on it's own, but with some rings and wedges, I'm good to go! I found this dress from Witchery not long ago, and can't stop wearing it! The print and cut is just so simply gorgeous!

I found this little gem of a ring from Sportsgirl today. I've been trying to find a necklace version for a decent price, but have failed miserbly so far, so this ring will do as a substitute until then! The bracelet was a lovely little gift from my three gorgeous friends for my eighteenth birthday not too long ago! I'm in love with it, and refuse to take it off once it's on!

I realised a while ago that I was supposed to show you all my Little Red Riding Hood outfit, but unfortunately I can't find any decent photos of my entire outfit from that day. If I find a good shot, maybe from a friend's camera, I'll post it up here for you guys!

I've almost recovered from my wisdom teeth surgery which is good timing because I had an interview for a university course today. So glad it's over!

These past few days have been pretty hot, especially after lots of rainy cold ones. That's Melbourne for you! Now I've got a somewhat permanent tan line from my sandels resembling a flag of some sort... hm interesting. I felt like wearing a more girly summery outfit the other day, so I paired to floral button up with a tutu like skirt (something I usually wouldn't wear) but it looked so cute on the rack at Camberwell market.

I had my last exam yesterday so I'm no longer a secondary school student! I feel completely, and utterly free right now. Hopefully this means that I can dedicate more time to my blog and start sewing again for my Etsy store. I'm planning on making a mini collection and getting my talented friends to model and photograph for me. Fingers crossed this happens!

Like the rest of the fashion and blogging community, I'm crazy for polka dotted skirts, dresses and blouses! I've hunted down a skirt and a blouse at the op-shop and now I'm on a mission to find a pretty dress!

I'm also starting to favour longer length skirts now. Apart from maxi skirts, which I'm completely in love with (isn't everyone?), just-above-the-knee skirts are starting to earn my love too. What are your current obsessions?!

I'm eighteen today! Even though I don't feel any older, or wiser, I like the feeling that I'm finally eighteen! I've been busy with my nose stuck in the books these past weeks, trying to get through this crazy exam period the best I can. I've got three more exams left and will be finished by next week thankfully, so I'll be blogging a lot more frequently (I've still got some posts I promised to do that I haven't yet, sorry!). I can almost taste the freedom!

My sister took me to lunch today where we stuffed ourselves with some delicious food at a tapas place and for dinner my mum and sister cooked dinner, where were stuffed ourselves silly again. It feels like all I did was eat today, not that I'm complaining! And my lovely friends bought me a gorgeous bracelet that I am in love with and will treasure forever! Thank you so much everyone!

So let's go back a week, when the sun was shining and it actually felt like spring. My sister and I spent it in a coin laundry as we waited, for what felt like an extremely long time for a piece of material to wash and dry. The soundtrack of the day would have definately been Coin Laundry by Lisa Mitchell. Coin laundries really do have the cutest Tiffany-blue dryers don't you think?

I'm wearing one of my many new (well, thrifted, vintage, second hand etc) pieces. This jacket is from Camberwell market and I'm kind of loving it and it's perfect for spring! I can't decide whether to leave the shoulder pads in or not.

Oh, tomorrow is the traditional year 12 dress up day and I'm coming as Little Red Riding Hood. Can't wait to show you all! It really is quite fun to make capes, and put flowers in baskets.

I think I may have unconsciously taken to the demin, khaki and stripe trends a bit too much in this outfit, only realising this when I was at the shops and looking at the window displays. I hadn't been to an actual shopping centre in a while, and have been mainly shopping online, at op-shops and markets so it came as quite a suprise when all the little trends I'd been seeing online suddenly appeared all at once in front of me. Sorry for being the little trend girl here, haha. But I've got to say, I'm quite excited about spring and summer!

Op shops and markets have been so good these past few weeks, thank you! I can't stop wearing these boots and using this bag I picked up at Camberwell market for quite a little bargain. And I have a feeling I'm going to be wearing this demin top I bought at the Salvation Army for five bucks the other day a lot as the weather gets warmer. So I apologise in advance!

Yenny's rings

I had a lovely morning with my friend Yenny from STUDDED HEARTS, my sister NATALIE and her friend at Camberwell Market today. Swooned over some beautiful jewellery and unaffordable leather pieces.

Unfortunately it wasn't the best day for clothes shopping, but I came back with a gorgeous 'spoon handle' necklace hanging from a leather strap (from my now favourite seller who makes some really unique jewellery out of cultery, apparently it was all the rage in the 70s) , a cute black bag and some gorgeous boots (I'll post about it soon). My friend bought the coolest pair of platform suede booties, but unfortunately you can't see them very well in the photo. And how amazing is her jewellery! Check her blog out if you haven't already!

The sun shone through today like there was no tomorrow and it almost, just almost felt like spring! But I'm sure it'll be back to the usual freezing school day tomorrow.

Headed to the Botanic Gardens after lunch in the city for my mum's birthday today. I would love to go back in the summer and laze around under a tree, have a picnic or read a book. I had my Holga camera in hand and took plenty of photos. I need to go and get my film developed, but I keep forgetting. One of the drawbacks of film cameras and my inability to develop them on my own.

This is my latest op shop find and I couldn't be happier. (The MS opshop on Kingsway always has amazing pieces!) My favourite pieces are always those that I accidentally stumble upon, rather than those that I set out to find. I usually find no pleasure in shopping with a purpose because it ends up with me empty handed and rather unhappy or with a million other purchases that have nothing to do with what I actually needed, haha. Hint: don't go shopping with me for a formal dress, or shoes for a formal. It always ends bad.

School is starting to become quite hectic. Time to really focus. Entertain me for a bit with your lastest finds guys!

These photos were taken from the bus back from the snow at Mt Buller a few weeks back. The scenery was just breath taking.

I apologise for the lack of posts and etsy updates. I've been so busy with school lately that there hasn't been much to update about. There will be however, be new items in my Etsy store by the end of the year! That's what I'm planning anyway. Fingers crossed.

My wardrobe doesn't consist of much colour, so when I saw this jumper I jumped at the opportunity to add some much needed variety to my pretty dull cupboard. I love the varying sized knits and the cropped length. Despite the fact that my blanket, walls and jumper all appear to be the same colour, I'm not particularly obsessed with this colour. It was however my all time favourite childhood colour. I guess it's back to the good ol' days!

Planning to change my room up a bit on the holidays. Need to start hanging up my pinboard and whiteboard, stick up my stack of ripped out magazine editorials and photos soon before they end up lost and ruined. My room is pretty much a mess filled with school books, revision posters and bags and clothes everywhere- not a good look.

Here are just a few of my favourite photos that I took using my new Holga 135BC camera! Going back to film is so much fun! These are just some test shots I took to get a feel of how the photos would turn out. I can't wait to start carrying this baby around with me all the time. At this rate, I might end up going through bucket loads of film! (My sister decided I should call my camera Ted, I think it's cute!)

Aren't these shades from Nasty Gal the coolest things ever? Just thought I'd share my crazy obsession with these! How is everyone going? My exams are over and I'm feeling more relieved than ever!

There is a crazy amount of clothes, shoes, bags, toy cameras, jewellery etc. that I want to buy. Does anyone have any tips to resist the temptation of over spending?! I finally went searching for my formal dress today and unfortunately came back empty handed and left with extremely sore feet. Is it because it's winter here that I can't find any decent dresses, or is it just the dresses? I now have around four days to either find a dress or resort to making my own which will no doubt be extremely rushed!

I feel like making a collage guys. I think I will!
